In Need of Fresh Food Inspiration to Kick Start 2019? Look No Further!
We’re already half way through the first month of 2019. And if you’re anything like us, we love the feeling of a fresh and healthy start every new year. Food is a particularly big chit-chat every January. We believe that balance is key, also when it comes to the food you eat, and that it’s totally okay to have a slice of that delicious chocolate cake when you want to, as well as knowing and feeling the benefits from a healthy, home-cooked dish with natural ingredients. Let 2019 be the year you don’t stress about your diet, rather choose to live a lifestyle that gives you the joy from both “the carrot and the chocolate”.
We wanted to share with you a few of our favorite recipes from “Happy Food Stories” author, Hanna Dale! We found both healthy recipes and sweeter ones (that are actually not that unhealthy), because as we said, balance is key. Food is amazing, not an enemy you should restrict. There are so many tasteful and delicious meals out there that you can try out this new year - as well as some amazing sweeter ones that you’ll love. And the sweet ones you shouldn’t call a guilty pleasure. Food should not make you feel guilty, it should bring you a healthy mind, body and soul - and for that you need both “the carrot and the chocolate”.
